Powersport Share

Overview

Powersport Share is a peer-to-peer marketplace connecting powersport vehicle owners with riders looking to rent ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles. I designed and engineered the platform from the ground up, working closely with founders and investors to bring their vision to life.

My Role & Responsibilities

This was a true full-stack role where I owned both design and development:

• UX Design - Created high-fidelity mockups and user flows in Figma
• Frontend Development - Built the entire front-end using Nuxt 3 and Tailwind CSS
• Backend Development - Designed data schema and built features with Supabase
• Stakeholder Collaboration - Worked closely with founders and investors to ensure alignment with their original vision.

Key Features Built

In-App Messaging

Built a fully-featured messaging system enabling real-time communication between hosts and renters.

Host Dashboard

Developed a comprehensive income and payouts dashboard with financial analytics, transaction history, and earnings projections.

Listing Management

Created an end-to-end listing system with photo uploads, pricing configuration, availability calendars, and rental terms.

Payments & Authentication

• Integrated Stripe Connect for marketplace payments and host onboarding
• Implemented secure authentication with 2FA and passkey support
• Set up email automations and scheduled tasks for platform notifications

Results

• 500+ hosts captured pre-launch across the greater Midwest region
• Optimized performance with asset optimization to minimize infrastructure costs
• Production-ready platform built from concept to production
